- Nawras won the 2nd Fixed-Line bid in Oman.
- Emarat Al Youm, an Arabic UAE-based newpaper has been banned for publishing for 20 days from 20th Nov 2008 and Mr Sami Al Reyami, the editor-in-chief of Emarat Al Youm has been fined DHS 20,000.
I liked the Aqim Salatak Qabl Mamatak campaign that was going on all over the TV a couple of years ago. Had some serious impacts on many young people including myself.
