Slavery

How world you feel if you see someone close to you treat their domestic workers as slaves? How will you react?

The domestic worker work long hours, nearly 16 to 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no weekend off; low pay; bully them; wake them up at anytime; and above all less sleep as minimum as 4 hours.

That’s the civilised slavery, as long as you pay them, they need the job, you can treat them as you wish, it‘s work every biza/ penny you spent on (the visa, medical, ticket, mobile phone and sim card (as per new regulation), and 24 months of low salary).

They forgot what Islam and other religions thought us: "treat people the way you want to be treated", and they them self, use Islam to cover up their sins.

Where are the human rights?

  1. i'm so digging your blog! Found you through Lamya's passing and I do agree with this post as well...Humanity tends to loose understanding of others when wealth and privilage are present. I am tiiiiired of hearing people help others and then say something like "It made me realize how much a I have by helping people with nothing, i am much more grateful for what I have." That makes me feel as if the "help" or "assistance" is just a way to remember social status' and being happy to be on the high end of the spectrum. I am ready for a world where people do good for others without making such a big deal on how much less one has over another. No one should be a slave b/c they have less, and no one should apppreciate their weatlh more by halping someone less...equality does not demean another...
