Lazy to write

I want to share with you'll allot of things, but too lazy to type. I'll push my self to write what been happening arround me since last Feb 2009.

Ok, let me start about one of my weekends dated back to the midnight of 20th Feb, my phone alarm rang, I woke up (jumbed out of my skin) and picked up the phone, a reminder showed up 'Baba's birthday' I vividly smiled and read Surat Alfatihah for his soul and went back to sleep. At the evening, my sister and I were driving down town and we started recalling my late dad's gesture and his unforgettable sentences. God bless his Soul.

On 24th of Feb, the next weekend, I went with my sister, cousin and her niece who is one and half years of age, to one of international Pizza franchise, the girl who was trying to imitate her Aunt my eating with fork but couldn't pick up the salads with it, ends up removing the napkin from arround her nack, stating rebalient against aticate (she is a kid), but she made my day with her smile.

My last weekend was on 5th of March, my cousin got married, as the Aqd or religious marriage ceremony was at the Masjid been held by the men. I cried when I got the message from her brother that its over she became offically 'Mrs' and ended the lifecylce of 'Miss'. I called and wished her then met her at the saloon with the rest of the female members.

Wedding reception took place in the evening and everyone looked outstanding specially my sister and I. The brideamaids looks good too and managed well despite one day rehearsals or in the correct words few hours only.

I was planning to get the BB Bold, but the it was out of stock in all the stores of my mobile operator. I've changed my plans to get one until the 2nd half of the year, as I need to spend my money on something more importent.

One day, I drove to an offsite ATM machine, my sister got down and when she came back, she was laughing, she said "Also the mutawa flirt with Nasheed," it turned out a religious man who had long beard was flirting in a religious way.

Friendi Mobile will soon be on air in Oman, now the booking for numbers for free is available via friendimobile.om and various locations since 09-Mar-09, but the site booking has been a problem for too many visitors. I tried several times since 09-Mar-09 to book for one, but no luck, too many technical problems.

However, the CEO of Friendi Mobile been communicating with people via the local forums, such as English Sabla and Omanforum, I thank Muscati and arun for informing me about it via Twitter.

UAE may follow to ban YouTube after Pakistan in February 2008 and Bangladesh 1st week of March 2009.

The world Celebrating Birth of the Prophet Muhammad (ASW), which occurs in Rabi' al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar, and defer from one country to another depending on the visibility of moon and when the new Islamic calander started.

That's all for now.

I'll try to keep updating you'll as soon as I am free to type.

'Ana Muwaaten' is over

Some of AGCC has pumped their own cetizens to the extreem that they are nationals 'Ana Muwaaten', and they are privilaged and above all, as a result some of them not all became too boosted and managed to treate their naibours like trash.

but year 2009, the tables has turned against them. With the financial crises, UAE, KUWAIT & BAHRAIN nationals been kicked off from work because of that. Some UAE nationals been informed by ahmmm a BRITISH national, which made the situation even worst.

All I can say, the AGCC is becoming western Countries.

It's getting hot

We are in wenter season but it's hot for Gulf Cup fans, speacialy now in Oman, the host.

While I am typing, the people (girls arround me) enjoying & screaming with joy the way the Omani team playing, the game is heating & the all covered with red, the symbol of Oman.

The predictions are Oman may win the cup 2-0 or 2-1; others or ruomers say the guy who predicted GONU in June 2007, predicted KSA might win. God knows the truth, he is the one who wrote the faith of the two teams.

Enjoy the ganme.

And the winner is..

Bahrain Vs Iraq by 3-1.

Khaliji 19 fever

As the 19th Gulf Cup series (Khaliji 19) have started, and the fever has hit the AGCC population, specially Oman, as it’s the host.

As for this national event, I've subscribed to Koorah+, to get updated despite I am not a fan of football. Oman got even with Kuwait with no score as 0-0, while Bahrain lead Iraq by 1-0 at halftime, which was scored by Abdullah Ismael (God knows who he is) in the 28th minute, and the match is continuing.

Fever
About 'fever', I have been suffering from fever since 29th of December 2008. What a bad ending and starting a year with a sickness, couldn't attend a friend's wedding, and my cousin had his first newborn son.

Bait Al Zubair on Aljazeera.net

I came across an article about Bait Al Zubair museum while browsing Aljazeera.net written by Tariq Ashqar in Arabic. Bait Al Zubair is the only ‘private museum’ in Sultanate of Oman beside other government owned museums.

As per Omanet.om, Museums in Oman:

Has a vast collection of ancient household equipment, costumes and weapons. Most of the exhibits have come from the owner's private collection. Outside, there is a falaj running through a full-scale Omani village and souq.

Recently, my sister bought an Music CD of Qusai a Saudi Rapper aka Don Legend the Kamelion.
At first I felt odd listening to an Arab rapper, specially from the KSA; but he rocked with 'The Wedding' (Saudi Wedding rap song) by Qusai and Jeddah Legend, a mix of Arabic & English lyrics.
His website is DonLegend.com.
I hope you enjoy the music video.

Hooray , Two day weekend for Omani banks

Congratulations to all the Banks in Sultanate of Oman, the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has announced by issuing a circular to the banking sector for adopting two day Friday-Saturday weekend like the other AGCC countries.

MUSCAT — The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has issued a circular to the banking sector, approving a request from the commercial banks to change their working days and weekend holidays. All the banks will operate from Sunday to Thursday, effective from July and will be closed on Friday and Saturday.

Hamood bin Sangour Al Zedjali, executive president of the CBO, said the approval granted in response to a request from the commercial banks was aimed at streamlining the banking activities in line with the international practice as most of the international markets and banking establishments operate on Thursdays.

This change would provide the Sultanate’s banks an opportunity to conduct businesses with their counterparts worldwide, he added. The board of governors of the CBO would, in collaboration with the Council of Ministers, hold a meeting in mid-June to endorse the said decision, which would be enforced from July, he added.

The government hasn’t announced its shift to Friday-Saturday instead of the current Thursday-Friday weekend.

Two day weekend for Omani banks (rumours)

Rumours about Omani banks having Two day weekend plus shifting to Friday-Saturday weekend becoming spicy, as it has been circulating in several banks, but nothing is officially confirmed yet. It is been said it will start from July 2008.

It may be a good news for allot of people, and if it is implemented, I believe the government will shift to Friday-Saturday weekend by beginning of the schools 2008-2009.

If the banks shift to Friday-Saturday weekend and the government doesn’t, it will create conflict of interest.

Best wishes.

Celebrity Conner

On February 22, 2008 Mr & Mrs Marc Anthony welcomed their first newborns son Max
and daughter Emme to the world.

With mama Jennifer Lopez been freaked out like every insecure celebrity worried that her new born babies to be kidnapped, she kept her babies under round-the-clock guard since their birth with two bodyguards for every 8 hour shift, which cost them a allot, but the Anthony’s aren’t worried about their financials, as they will be exclusively selling the newborns photos to People Weekly magazine in order to cover up their expenses and financially secure the newborns future.

After the storm

It’s been a while I haven’t posted anything, when ever I login the internet, I feel drained and not in a mood for to write nor surf the net; allot of news I want to talk about, I hope it may interest you’ll.

First I give high five for the Sultanate of Oman leader, the government and it’s citizens as well as the expatriates for making Muscat Festival 2008 work and go through after six months of ‘the Guno cyclone’ hit Oman and everyone got on their feet making it happen.

Dish TV is a satellite broadcasting service available to users in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and parts of South East Asia, which is now been sold off in the Arabian Gulf Counties - Middle East through the Indian expatriates who work in the satellite distribution companies or get it by them selves from India, I was told about by my colleague.

When you buy a dishtv connection you get - Hardware / Equipment:
  • Dish with LNB
  • Digibox and cable
  • Viewing Card (VC)

It will cost from USD122.21 to USD162.70 for one year with the above Hardware / Equipments, then it will only cost from USD 51.1 to USD91.59, it’s vary cheep. It seems it’s illegal in Oman but it is still sold.

Is it humanely to give one hour notice for dismissing your employee to pack his stuff and sending back home? I don’t believe so.

The first spy camera was found in female toilet in a government building in Dubai - UAE; the man was captured after 48 hours from the time it was found.

Dubai-based Almulla Hospitality is planning to develop a hotel chain that complies with Islamic law, including a ban on alcohol.
