Crazy Not Equal to Stupid

One truck driver was doing his usual delivery to IMH (Institute of mental health).

He discovered a flat tyre when he was about to go home. He jacked up the truck and took the flat tyre down.

When he was about to fix the spare tyre, he accidentally dropped all the bolts into the drain.. As he can't fish the bolts out, he started to panic.

One patient happened to walk past and asked the driver what happened.
The driver thought to himself, since there's nothing much he can do; he told the patient the whole incident

The patient laughed at him & said "can't even fix such a simple problem.... no wonder you are destined to be a truck driver..."

Here's what you can do, take one bolt each from the other 3 tyres and fix it onto this tyre. Then drive to the nearest workshop and replace the missing ones, easy as that" The driver was very impressed and asked "You're so smart but why are you here at the IMH?"

Patient replied: "Hello, I stay here because I'm crazy not STUPID!"

Chemical Symbols On Plastic

Did you happen to notice a triangle symbol on the bottom of a plastic bottle with a number inside it?

Do you know what the number stands for?

THE NUMBER TELLS YOU THE CHEMICAL MAKE UP OF THE PLASTIC.....

1) Polyethylene terephalate (PET)
2) High density polyethylene (HDPE)
3) Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) or Plasticised polyvinyl chloride (PPVC)
4) Low density polyethylene LDPE
5) Polypropylene (PP)
6) Polystyrene (PS) or Expandable polystyrene (EPS)
7) Other, including nylon and acrylic
What you aren't told is that many of the plastics used are toxic and the chemicals used to create a plastic can leach out of the plastic and into the food / drink.
Think about it, how many times have you or a friend said
"I don't like this, it taste like the plastic bottle ..... "
THAT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE TASTING THE PLASTIC The WORST ONES are Nos: 3, 6, and 7 !!!

DO NOT USE THESE NUMBERS if stated at the bottom of the bottle) !!!

Check out this chart that breaks down the plastic, its uses and chemical makeup
(I find #7 a little scary)

AVOID re-using plastic bottles RIGHT AWAY!!!

Islamic Naqaab Vs Medical Mask

The Western countries made fun of the naqaab (Islamic Burqa/Veil).
France President Sarcozy had issued a ban on the Viel(Naqaab).

And what’s happening today, entire world is wearing naqaab or mask, because of H1N1 virus.

Is such a sudden attack of swine flu a coincidence? No way.

Swine flu

I thank God (Allah) for prohibiting eating pork meat or any pig's body parts because it courses diseases that is easy to transmit to human.

I know the Swine flu can not transmit to human by eating the meat, but look at this way, if God did not prohibit Muslims to eat pork meat, by now the Islamic countries would have raised pigs and Swine flu would have spread fast like in America and Europe continents. As the result, two third or 75% of the world population would have wiped out.

That's why Islam, Judaism and other non-Abrahamic religions had prohibited pork. That's God's wisdom and test for his creatures.

What to do when you are trapped in a lift?

I received this forwarding mail from my cousin, to sure if it is true or not, but thought to share it with you.

What to do when you are trapped in a lift?

We never know when and where accidents will happen to us OR people around us. Read on and hope this piece of information may help any of us when things do happen to ourselves, our friends and our loved ones.

One day, while in a lift, it suddenly broke down and it was falling from level 13 at a fast speed. Fortunately, I remembered watching a TV program that taught you must quickly press all the buttons for all the levels. Finally, the lift stopped at the 5th level. When you are facing life and death situations, whatever decisions or actions you make decides your survival. If you are caught in a lift breakdown, first thought in mind may be 'waiting to die'...

But after reading below, things will definitely be different the next time you are caught in a lift.

First – Quickly press all the different levels of buttons in the lift.

Second – Hold on tight to the handle (if there is any).

Third – Lean your back and head against the wall forming a straight line.

Fourth – Bend your knees. Reason – When the lift falls, you will not know when it will hit the ground, and it may result in whole body bone fracture.

Point 1 – When the emergency electricity supply is being activated, it will stop the lift from falling further.

Point 2 – It is to support your position and prevent you from falling or getting hurt when you lost your balance.

Point 3 – Leaning against the wall is to use it as a support for your back/spine as protection.

Point 4 – Ligament is a flexible, connective tissue. It can be attached to the bone part of the activities, but limit the scope of their activities in order to avoid injury. Thus, the impact of fractured bones will be minimised from the severe pressure during fall.

For everyone, do send out this piece of information to all you care.

Monopoly of insurance companies

Ahmed Al Falahi wrote an article on 23 Dec 2008 at the Oman Daily, an Arabic newspaper, about how insurance companies in different Welayats (regions) rip off the Omani citizens because of no supervision from higher authorities.

He gave a four wheel drive with 4300 cc with third party insurance, as an example may cost OMR 300 at one company and same specification and facility it will cost OMR 70 in other company.

He said as per my understanding, the lack of competition in the regions comparing to Muscat region and neighbouring regions, which has high competitions and multi options suits everyone‘s needs. The greedy insurance companies at other regions manipulate and set the fees as they please.

Can the regulatory authority do anything about it? Or do we encourage the new Intilaaqah participants to go towards setting up new insurance companies, which lacks competitions to kill monopoly and blood suckers?

Young graduate Egyptians started to overcome the unemployment barrier by taking care of elderly people as a new career in Egypt. I found this gesture, is good for them as persons and sociality too. It makes them more aware of human rights and family bonds.
