Will you give teenager a BlackBerry?

An event has came across me, when a woman called and told me that she gave her teenaged niece 200 Omani Rials worth of money to buy BlackBerry under a verbal aproval from the girl that her mother said so.

I was shocked and didn't agree on the consept of the girl in her late teens does not need to own such a device, since she won't use 90% of the features. The argument the girl used is to check her mails, but she can check her mails from any mobile phones such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, etc support it too. I realized she just want to show off and her mother allows her.

My self the most expensive mobile device was not more then 80 Omani Rials, while the other phones I had and still have were gifts, each worth from 150+ Omani Rials.

I won't lie my dream of owning the legend BlackBerry, but reality hit me, I can invest on something else worth more, as I had a good condition Nokia E61i device.

"I am a VSN, get me out of here!"

I have been ispired by the realityTV show "I am a celebrity, get me out of here!", after hearing a story of my young women, between the age of 21 and 27, went to Afria and got board, because no TV or internet at the house they were staying. They end up sleeping most of the time.

I know you are wandering what is VSN stands for? VSN stands for Virtual Social Networker, it seems they are deepy part of it, as they can't servive without it, they didn't go out and do any outdoor activies.

I realised over 70% of the current generation are VSN or TV addict or Video games addicts, they are been shelved by technology, to unhealthy lifestyle and Zero social skills.

I feel like crying

I have allot of pain in my heart, not phisicaly but emotional, I feel my rights have been ripped off because a man (who is the suppose to represent me) thinks other person (who made a mistake and guilty) has more rights then I am despite logically I have 100% right.

What to say when you don't have a man to back you up and support you. Where is the eithics, moral, religion, etc.

Yes, I am back with negative thoughts, which I am not proud of, I wanted to come back with something good & pleasent.

Off the topic, planning to get off facebook for good, seen things, which makes me feel I want to puke. I may be looked at as a backward, but I am proud of who am I.

Maid Charged with Adding Menstrual Blood to Food

In a bizarre attempt to improve her relationship with her employer, an Indonesian maid has appeared in a Hong Kong court accused of adding menstrual blood to her employer’s food. Things are not, however, as they seem for Indra Ningsih, aged 26.

Indra mixed menstrual blood into a pot of vegetables as a sort of guaranteed panacea for improving relations between herself and her employer.

It makes a little more sense if one considers that in some Asian cultures, menstrual blood is thought to have special powers.

Whether true or no, she has been charged with one count of “administering poison destructive or noxious substances with intent to injure” according to the media. She has not yet entered a plea.

The noxious action was discovered completely by chance. Her female employer whose surname is Mok happened to enter the kitchen to her home and noticed the maid acting rather strangely. She caught her throwing something into the trash bin, which turned out to be a used sanitary napkin. When she looked into the pot of vegetables, she noticed something “suspicious” floating around mixed with the vegetables and water. Indra had no excuse except to say that things had been bad between her employer and herself, and she hoped to improve things. Well, Indra, not likely.

, I clicked on 'Ignore' button, and I realized what had happen. I opened a new tab at my WIE and typed 'Google.com' and the website got downloaded.

I typed 'prophet mohammed' at the text box and clicked 'Search' wala, I clicked on 'Muhammad - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia' and saw the images, oh my gosh its true, where was I all this days? Since when it happened?

My statement is "I vote for removal of Illustrations of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) from Wikipedia."

Haraam = Haraam

I do not know how to write this post, how to express my thought, it makes me feel emotionally angry, which I am honestly trying to control it.

The whole topic about people's dark secret they steal, rape, and commit adultery (pardon my spelling mistakes as I am posting via my mobile) and in front of society, they are kind, religious, etc. I don't understand why they accept committing adultery or rape & forget they have their own kids may happen to them as well because the made it Halal for them for doing which is not rightful by law.

When man gave a right for him self commit harassment, an adultery or rape a woman, he automatically by default also gave the same equal right for another man/ men to do the same thing with HIS OWN sister/ wife/ mother/ Auntie/ niece/ daughter/ grand daughter, etc.

I feel who commit such sin have a hole in their life, they are trying to fill it, despite of their awareness of law and religion consequences, they do it to satisfy them selves. What is prohibited by law & religion has more pleasure as they feel them selves above all. They forget what will happen to their own family.

Some people are 100% aware of their direct family members are committing such things, but they protect them and ready to pin it on someone else, only because their faith in God is weak.

I feel sorry for the victims.

I am a bit frustrated about things, which does not effecting me personally, but religiously. I am trying not to post, as people from other religions as well as countries may get offended but I have just that they are the only direct example.

I just realized that some and not all Muslims getting married to non-Abrahamic religions, its didn't start now or the current generation, but its been there for generations before I was even born. I realized it may be either lack of faith in God i.e. Iman.

The Iman has 6 articles:
1. Belief in God (Allah), the one and only one worthy of all worship (tawhid).
2. Belief in the Angels (mala'ika).
3. Belief in the Books (kutub) sent by God (including the Qur'an).
4. Belief in all the Prophets (nabi) and Messengers (rusul) sent by God.
5. Belief in the Day of Judgment (qiyama) and in the Resurrection (life after death).
6. Belief in Destiny (Fate) (qadar) (Shia divine justice).

The Qur'an stated about marriage, but it seems some of the Muslims either they lack of guidance or they don't have the faith.

I personally know a woman who follows an unabrahamic religion, who got married to Muslim man in Islamic country, the marriage ceremony was held privately and in both religions with the blessing of both family, I was shocked when I found out.

People may say, it's their life, but as far as I know, they are living in sin. Once an Arab and Muslim woman told me she would agree to marry man, who follows a non-abrahamic religion and she may practice his religion as long as she doesn't belive in it, it's just acting.

Yes, I made a mistake

Two incidents happend to me yesterday, I learnt something from it, I learnt to accept my mistakes & admit it as well as confrunt & apologise to whom it consurned. I also learned who really genuine & who is not.

The Aunty Zahra called me in the morning, told me that I didn't inform her I was picking up Salma despite she doesn't have any objection to for Salma to be with me, I apologized to her and admited for my irrisponsible action and asured her it won't happen again, she justified her reasons for telling me that and I agreed with her, I respect her more then ever that she didn't waste the time and called me within less then one hour since I picked up Salma, I aknowledge her careness.


Another incedint happend in the evening of the samr day while I went to visit one of my relatives. I walked in the room and greeted two people (thier grade are as my parents) out of three and I didn't reaise I didn't greet the third person (whose like my sister) and walked out of the room.

It seems the 1st & the 3rd persons commented about my action towards the third person. So the 2nd person told them that she will talk to me when she sees me, they refused but she insisted.

The 2nd person called me later at night and told me about my action, I told her I didn't realise that and apologised as I didn't mean to ignore or disrespect the 3rd person and she understood and accepted my version of the story as saw how I looked while greeting her. I was shocked that no one had alart me at the same moment or tell me what I did was wrong by confronting me at the same time.

The above incidents made me realised how simple action can be positively or negatively been translated by people.

From Global news, today, people globally celebrating 'Earth Hour', it's an ECO friendly hour, the world switch off their lights, i.e. no using electrisity for one hour, which means no light polution for one hour. Correct me if I am wrong, from 8:30 PM to 9:30PM and some not all cities are perticipated in this Eco event.

I have just found out some news, which the people in the house never told me for unknown reason:
- My sister-in-law's uncle passed away few weeks ago & my sibling found out by accident.
- My cousin's cousin mate with accident few weeks ago & I heard the news from outside source.
- I was invited for dinner & was told after it was over as they apologized on behalf of me without tell me (they insisted that I was informed & I was not).

What ill you do he it happened to you?

This thought came to me when I read an article 'Locals not allowed' by Osama in Arabic, about not allowing locals wearing their national cloths dine in fancy restaurants as part of policy.

In UAE:

• The local citizen is a foreigner,
• It’s a western not eastern country,
• Bars and discos open 24/7,
• 24/7 developments.

Hippie or not
Over three years ago, I mate a young man, from the same community, I always found thing strange in his behaviour and character, which made me feel uncomfortable.

Since then, I was trying to figure out, which group he may fit in, he looked like a care free person, long hair, I realized he has a Hippie character, don‘t ask me, I just sense it.

The question is, are their Hippies in the Arab world or not?

Osama bin Laden tactics

Omar Bin Laden, the fourth son of the legend Osama bin Laden has been seeking a free global publicity since mid 2007 up to date, it’s becoming uncomfortably irritating and fishy too.

I believe that his father is behind this charade, which has been planned very well.

He may have tipped him of to create diversions of the world from Osama’s 'the Terrorist' to sympathise with his son 'the victim' of his father’s sins (that he kills innocents for the name of Islam), who was once covering his daddy’s back in Afghan and supporting Talibaan with their manly and primitive thoughts by the name of Islam.

His side of the story

• March 2007 - Marriage to Zaina Mohamed Al-Sabah (No prove if it is true or not), legally named Jane Felix-Browne, a British woman who is twice his age, and divorced her in September 2007 after series of death threats from KSA. After 2 weeks they got back together.
• Since then, his request for visa to enter UK was declined on several occasions because of he refuses to provide his father’s address up to date.
• On November 3, 2008 he flew to Spain with his wife and applied for Asylum petition, for the reason his life is in danger in Cairo. His request was declined twice even with the appeal.
• Flew back to Egypt, they claim that they were interrogated and deported by the Egyptian officials about his claim of safety in Egypt when he have applied for Asylum petition in Spain.
• On November 9, 2008 they arrived in Qatar, and currently staying there and Omar claimed that USA offered him a Green Card but he declined their offer and preferred to stay in Qatar.
  
  Is all that true? God knows.

Now it sinked in

The day of Eid, I felt my heart has just crashed, it just sinked in, my father has died, I won't go to see him today nor tomorrow or for the rest of my life; I won't wish be able to wish him, to see his face full of suprise and happiness expression of seen me and my sibling came to greet him in the morning.

I walked to my baby sister and told her how I felt, couple of days ago we were arguing about reducing number of houses we have to visit, on that day I disagreed with her, but in Eid morning, I told her I'm fine with it, I managed to reduce over half of the houses, we both couldn't manage to walk-in allot of people, our heart couldn't take it anymore, we were mourning in our on way all this time, trying to be braive.

When we went to have Eid breakfast for the first time in my life since moved in Oman, I greeted my uncle then I ran back to my room, I cried for the first snice my dad's death.

I am just praying for him when ever I remember him. I miss him allot.

I feel my life has changed allot, my principles and concept of life, family, etc. I realised I am not social enough that I don't visit most of my relatives and don't know most of them. I don't want to be unknown or forgoten, I don't want to be a stranger within my people.

Eat Rats

The officials in Bihar state in eastern India, encouraged it’s people in all classes to eat rats and mouse in order to fight the food price and save the wheat and rice.

The worst that the government officials had requested the hotels and restaurants to be creative and include Rat and mouse meat as a dish in their menu.

Bihar state is known to be one of the poorest states in India. How will the vegetarians eat meat and Muslims eat rat and mouse which is against the religion.

Muslim Nigerian with 86 wives

Mohammed Bello Abubakar , a Muslim Nigerian who is married to 86 wives which is against the Islam as per Quran, the holy book of Islamic Religion that Muslim follow. Islam is not against Polygamy as long as a man has maximum of four wives as long as the man treat them equally.

Mohammed Bello is known as former teacher and Muslim scholar. He claims that God (Allah) speaks directly to him, ordered him to marry 86 wives and gave him strength to control them. He may have miss interpreted the Quran or have lost some of his memory due age (maybe).

He did committed a sin.

The 2008 Sequels

This summer I watch The Dark Knight, which is the latest Batman Sequels; and The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

The Dark Knight

I will rate 'A+' for 'The Dark' Knight for best script, characters and production, it was outstanding. Specially the Joker character which was played by the late Australian actor Heath Ledger who died on January 22, 2008 the cast too.

Christopher Nolan, the Director of Batman Batman Begins (in 2005) and it's Sequel The Dark Knight (in 2008) had made marvellous job in delivering the story in the best way. His contribution in The Dark Knight was not only limited to as a Director, but he also was a one of the story writers ) a Screenwriter) and a Producer.

Batman started as TV series 1966–1968  then movie sequels from 1989:

• Batman (1989)
  
• Batman Returns (1992)
• Batman  Forever (1995)
• Batman & Robin (1997)
• Batman Begins  (1998)
• The Dark Knight (2008)

The X-Files: I Want to Believe

As for ‘The X-Files: I Want to Believe’, I will rate it as 'C'. Because of the script wasn’t reflecting The X-Files TV series nor anything near it. The movie was more like a homicide or in another word, more criminal act then unnatural event.

It was written by Chris C. Carter (who is also the Director) and Frank Spotnitz as Screenwriters and both of them are also Producers. They also have contributed in The X-Files (1998) movie.

The first Sequel The X-Files released in 1998 i.e. 10 years ago, had a good script and was reflecting The X-Files TV series.

The Sickness Disease

On 6th of Aug 2008, I came across an intresting article in Arabic titiled 'مرض التمارض' (The Sickness Disease) by Aqeel Abdulkhaliq Al Lawati (عقيل عبدالخالق اللواتي). It is about how people pretend to be sick.

The writer talks about how thouse people take the advantage of pretending to be sick, how ,they abuse the system, how the doctors profit out of it, how this disease became like a virus that infects our society.

The writer also mentioned that such disease derives from lack of self esteem and skills as well as low performance.

My opinion, its a way to escape from reality.

I'm 11 years old. My mommy worked on the 20th floor in the World Trade Tower.


On Sept. 11 2001 my daddy drove my mom to work. She was running late so she left her purse in the car. My daddy seen it so he parked the car and went to give her the purse.


That day after school my daddy didn't come to pick me up.Instead a police man came and took me to foster care. Finally I found out why my daddy never came.. I really loved him.... They never found his body.. My mom is in the the Hospital since then.. She is losing lots of blood.. She needs to go through surgery..


But since my daddy is gone and no one is working.. We have no money .. And her surgery cost lots of money.. So the Red Cross said that for every time this email is fwd we Will get 10 cent for my mom's surgery. So please have a heart and fwd this to everyone you know I really miss my daddy and now I don't want to lose my mommy too..
