هل أعلمه الأدب أم أتعلم منه قلة الأدب

في كل صباح يقف عند كشكه الصغير ليلقي عليه تحية الصباح ويأخذ صحيفته المفضلة ويدفع ثمنها وينطلق ولكنه لا يحظى إطلاقا برد من البائع على تلك التحية،

وفي كل صباح أيضا يقف بجواره شخص آخر يأخذ صحيفته المفضلة ويدفع ثمنها ولكن صاحبنا لا يسمع صوتا لذلك الرجل،

وتكررت اللقاءات أمام الكشك بين الشخصين كل يأخذ صحيفته ويمضي في طريقه، وظن صاحبنا أن الشخص الآخر أبكم لا يتكلم،

إلى أن جاء اليوم الذي وجد ذلك الأبكم يربت على كتفه وإذا به يتكلم متسائلا: لماذا تلقي التحية على صاحب الكشك؟ فلقد تابعتك طوال الأسابيع الماضية.. وكنت في معظم الأيام ألتقي بك وأنت تشتري صحيفتك اليومية؟؟

فقال الرجل: وما الغضاضة في أن ألقي عليه التحية؟

فقال: وهل سمعت منه ردا طوال تلك الفترة؟

فقال صاحبنا: لا.

قال: إذن لم تلقي التحية على رجل لا يردها؟

فسأله صاحبنا: وما السبب في أنه لا يرد التحية برأيك؟

فقال: أعتقد أنه وبلا شك رجل قليل الأدب، وهو لا يستحق أساسا أن تُلقى عليه التحية.

فقال صاحبنا: إذن هو برأيك قليل الأدب؟

قال: نعم.

قال صاحبنا: هل تريدني أن أتعلم منه قلة الأدب أم أعلمه الأدب؟

فسكت الرجل لهول الصدمة.. ورد بعد طول تأمل: ولكنه قليل الأدب وعليه أن يرد التحية.

فأعاد صاحبنا سؤاله: هل تريدني أن أتعلم منه قلة الأدب أم أعلمه الأدب؟

ثم عقب قائلاً: يا سيدي أياً كان الدافع الذي يكمن وراء عدم رده لتحيتنا فإن مايجب أن نؤمن به أن خيوطنا يجب أن تبقى بأيدينا لا أن نسلمها لغيرنا،

ولو صرت مثله لا ألقي التحية على من ألقاه لتمكن هو مني وعلمني سلوكه الذي تسميه قلة أدب، وسيكون صاحب السلوك الخاطئ هو الأقوى وهو المسيطر، وستنتشر بين الناس أمثال هذه الأنماط من السلوك الخاطئ،

ولكن حين أحافظ على مبدئي في إلقاء التحية على من ألقاه أكون قد حافظت على ما أؤمن به،

وعاجلا أم آجلا سيتعلم سلوك حسن الخلق،

ثم أردف قائلاً: ألست معي بأن السلوك الخاطئ يشبه أحيانا السم أو النار؟.. فإن ألقينا على السم سماً زاد أذاه وإن زدنا النار ناراً أو حطباً زدناها اشتعالا،

صدقني يا أخي أن القوة تكمن في الحفاظ على استقلال كل منا، ونحن حين نصبح متأثرين بسلوك أمثاله نكون قد سمحنا لسمهم أو لخطئهم أو لقلة أدبهم كما سميتها أن تؤثر فينا وسيعلموننا ما نكرهه فيهم وسيصبح سلوكهم نمطا مميزا لسلوكنا وسيكونون هم المنتصرين في حلبة الصراع اليومي بين الصواب والخطأ،

ولمعرفة الصواب.. تأمل معي جواب النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام على ملك الجبال حين سأله: يا محمد أتريد أن أطبق عليهم الأخشبين؟

فقال: لا.. إني أطمع أن يخرج الله من أصلابهم من يعبد الله، اللهم اهد قومي فإنهم لا يعلمون.

لم تنجح كل سبل الإساءة من قومه عليه الصلاة والسلام أن تعدل سلوكه من الصواب إلى الخطأ! مع أنه بشر.. يتألم كما يتألم البشر، ويحزن ويتضايق إذا أهين كما يتضايق البشر،

ولكن ما يميزه عن بقية البشر هذه المساحة الواسعة من التسامح التي تملكها نفسه، وهذا الإصرار الهائل على الاحتفاظ بالصواب مهما كان سلوك الناس المقابلين سيئا أو شنيعا أو مجحفا أو جاهلا،



ويبقى السؤال قائماً: حين نقابل أناسا قليلي الأدب هل نتعلم منهم قلة أدبهم أم نعلمهم الأدب؟

Eid Rush

Domistic workers and Ramadhan

"Oh my God, all the shops are closed."

"I was hungry and all the resturents are closed."

"I can't drink when I am out or I will go to jail if the police catches me."

The above qoutes are from the domestic workers, who they experiance their first Ramadhan in Oman, they insisted to go out on Friday, on their off day, despite been worned that all the shops will be closed because of the holy month.

They thuoght everyone was just joking, No eating nor drinking was not easy for them, specially having hot weather.

Now, they counting the days for Ramadhan to end, to get back their freedom of drinking and eating their home food in day time with their fellow friends.

No insults

Dear Muslim,
Never insult anyone during fasting even the non-Muslims.

By insulting, you are automatically breaking your fast and gaining sins and reducing your Thawabs (good deeds) from God.

Kindly control your self by saying:
"Istagfiru Allah."
"Hasbiya Allahu Wa Niema Alwakeel."

Its Ramadhan where is the Rahma?

Why to fake for been sick and its Ramadhan. Do you know that you are lieing to everyone and getting more sin then Thawaab.

Its month of Rehma to everyone, you are not thinking of the people who are fasting, by driving them to do things insted of doing their work or sit to pray to God.

All I can say is to ask God for forgiveness. Allah enni Saemah.

Spread Islam

I dreamt my friend is spreading the word about Islam and their was flu break out and people trying to stop her, but someone said we shouldn't stop spreading Islam because of it.

When I got up, I realised I had fever, but I was happy it wasn't a nightmare.

When you don't fast

They are rules applied to people who can not fast during the holy month of Ramadhan:
- Eldary.
- Sickness.
- Travelling.
- Women monthy.

The last three can fast after Ramadhan, eldery and people who have permenent sickness who can't fast pay Sadhaka (Iftaar Zakhah).

The friday prayer

While my sister and me watching the Friday prayer (Muslim prayer) on TV, my sister commented some points, which made Islam uniqe in my point of view:
1- It makes people work as a team.
2- Be desiplaine.
3- Listen to instruction.
4- Focus.

All the above makes a person comply in life.

Ramadhan Kareem

I wish you all Ramadhan Mubarak to every Muslim arround the world.

I also wish for new born Muslims who will embrass Islam in the holy month.

I also wish the new Muslims who recently embrassed Islam, "Sawm Maqbool".

I advise the non-Muslims to try to fast, its a chalange worth accepting.

Lets rock

As the holy Ramadhan is aproching, the world is preparing for it in different ways, depending on the culture.

My family starts the first day with big fest of inviting families and relatives at home. New family additions has arrived and few departed to after life or out of the family. Other days, is the only time we gather when we have our eftaar and everyone get glued in front of the magic box a.k.a. TV or sleep or perform some prayers to God.

People go either for shopping or for prayers or religous lectures. Very few go out to eat unless invited.

How do you celebrate Ramadhan?

{Allah will grant a way out for anyone who heeds Him, and provide for him in a manner he could have never anticipated.Allah is enough for anyone who relies on Him; Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has granted everything in due proportion.}
