Board

Woke up by 8:30 AM, still feeling hang over (not for drinking) from sleep, not used to sleep late like I used too.

Just finished my breakfast, which consisted of Fuol Mudamis; Lebanise bread and cup of Lepton tea with powdered genger & six tea spoons of suger.

I am lazily, watching 'The Women' on Star Movies, while sipping my tea.

Waiting for my baby sister to come over for launch then go for an Arabic movie with my siblings & cousins.

That is all for now, I'll catch up with other bits of my life later.

Is "1000 Mbrook" a flop?

I have watched "1000 Mabrook" or Alf Mabrook, an Arabic Egyption movie of year 2009, which was not categorized as romantic or comedian as per Arab standard.

But allot of people who didn't get the consept and repitative death & living again had a meaning behind it, they didn't watch between the sceens, the meaning of life, living and caring about others. People didn't expect the actor Ahmed Helmi won't get out of the comedian frame and join the reality.

I loved the movie, worth watching, learn to how to change your life and accept that you can't change your faith, which is death, I mean you can't prepond or prospond it, and I accept that.

Who ever thought it is a flop movie, you made a mistake, try to see it again.

I realized that people in AGCC refer Egyptions as comedians, that's why they just laugh at the silliest Eygption joke or prefer watching the 2nd class comedian movies then drama or action movie, which has more stronger message. I know we need to laugh from time to time, but not to lower our sevles.

It's time to give credit to the Egyption drama, and promote it in the AGCC.

The 2008 Sequels

This summer I watch The Dark Knight, which is the latest Batman Sequels; and The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

The Dark Knight
I will rate 'A+' for 'The Dark' Knight for best script, characters and production, it was outstanding. Specially the Joker character which was played by the late Australian actor Heath Ledger who died on January 22, 2008 the cast too.

Christopher Nolan, the Director of Batman Batman Begins (in 2005) and it's Sequel The Dark Knight (in 2008) had made marvellous job in delivering the story in the best way. His contribution in The Dark Knight was not only limited to as a Director, but he also was a one of the story writers ) a Screenwriter) and a Producer.
Batman started as TV series 1966–1968  then movie sequels from 1989:
  • Batman (1989)
  • Batman Returns (1992)
  • Batman  Forever (1995)
  • Batman & Robin (1997)
  • Batman Begins  (1998)
  • The Dark Knight (2008)

The X-Files: I Want to Believe
As for ‘The X-Files: I Want to Believe’, I will rate it as 'C'. Because of the script wasn’t reflecting The X-Files TV series nor anything near it. The movie was more like a homicide or in another word, more criminal act then unnatural event.

It was written by Chris C. Carter (who is also the Director) and Frank Spotnitz as Screenwriters and both of them are also Producers. They also have contributed in The X-Files (1998) movie.

The first Sequel The X-Files released in 1998 i.e. 10 years ago, had a good script and was reflecting The X-Files TV series.

Arabic movies top of the list in 2007

I have been watching different movies in 2007 Arabic, English and Hindi either on Cinema or DVD or VCD.

The Arabic movies took the crown from the Hindi and English movies. It all depends on who is acting and the standard of the movies.

The post will be updated soon.
