... the only significant lunch at teta is when all of us in the family found her on the floor choking, and then, I thought I was witnessing her take her last dying breaths, I saw her face turn red, helpless on the floor, as she slowly raised her hands trying to recite Quraan. That is the day I realized how much I loved my grandmother. I FELT my heart tear apart. That is an incident that changed my view of Teta - I can't explain it in words - but instead of trying to breathe, she was trying to recite Quraan while everyone around her was screaming, and losing their mind in fear that she will no longer be with us.

The above quote has touched my heart of knowing that Color of ColoRama journal/blog wrote about her beloved grandmother been thinking of God (Allah) not saving her life, thinking to meet God with by recite his own holy words from Quraan, to meet her next life with veil of Quraan, and her strong faith in God.

Her grandmother is a true Muslim and mummeenah (a believer in God), didn't fear death but was willing to embracing it, and loves God more then her life.

Very few people are ready to embrace death with open heart.

I'm proud of knowing her grandmother and I'm proud that Color admires her and proud for been her granddaughter, also writing about it.

What is Marriage?

Based on Britannica as follows:

Marriage a legally and socially sanctioned union, usually between a man and a woman, that is regulated by laws, rules, customs, beliefs, and attitudes that prescribe the rights and duties of the partners and accords status to their offspring (if any). The universality of marriage within different societies and cultures is attributed to the many basic social and personal functions for which it provides structure, such as sexual gratification and regulation, division of labour between the sexes, economic production and consumption, and satisfaction of personal needs for affection, status, and companionship; perhaps its strongest function concerns procreation, the care of children and their education and socialization, and regulation of lines of descent. Through the ages marriages have taken a great number of forms.

I came across a married couple and by end of the year they are expecting their first new child. They haven’t agreed on naming the child if it is a boy.

They both don’t want to name him by their father’s name but the man wants to name him on his wife father’s name. their reasons are the same (repeated name in the family). He’s response “I am the one who will register the name in the birth certificate and you just carry the baby for nine months.” he repeated the same sentence several times and I was shocked to hear that. I tried to convince him that they should agree together on one name but he refused.

I realised that he was ignorant and didn’t respect his wife at all. He also didn’t understand what is marriage all about. He’s understanding is sex, have kids and bully her; and the history is repeating.



I don't know them..
Another incident of the same man, he took his childhood photo off the family frame, he didn’t want his in-laws to see it, he is either embarrassed about the photo.

My conclusion, he is embarrassed from his family and him self too. He is in confidence.

Anger started to consume me, I can’t believe it is happening to me. I tried to control my anger, they realised it and started to cool me down. Now I am angry to my self, for lashing off my dark side, the side I hate the most. I have to apologise for my action to those I didn’t intend to hurt.

Seagull becomes crisp shoplifter

A seagull has turned shoplifter by wandering into a shop and helping itself to crisps.

The bird walks into the RS McColl newsagents in Aberdeen when the door is open and makes off with cheese Doritos.

The seagull, nicknamed Sam, has now become so popular that locals have started paying for his crisps.

Shop assistant Sriaram Nagarajan said: "Everyone is amazed by the seagull. For some reason he only takes that one particular kind of crisps."

The bird first swooped in Aberdeen's Castlegate earlier this month and made off with the 55p crisps, and is now a regular.

Once outside, the crisps are ripped open and the seagull is joined by other birds.

'Fine art'

Mr Nagarajan said: "He's got it down to a fine art. He waits until there are no customers around and I'm standing behind the till, then he raids the place.

"At first I didn't believe a seagull was capable of stealing crisps. But I saw it with my own eyes and I was surprised. He's very good at it.

"He's becoming a bit of a celebrity. Seagulls are usually not that popular but Sam is a star because he's so funny."

A spokesman for RSPB Scotland said: "I've never heard of anything like this before.

"Perhaps it tried some crisps in a shiny packet in the street, and was just opportunistic one day at the shop when it saw what was inside.

"As everyone knows, gulls can be very quick and fearless, and clearly this one is no exception."

He added: "We'd discourage people from feeding gulls though, as gulls in towns generate lots of complaints every year, and the availability of food is the only reason they live in urban settings."
